Verizon wireless phone help!?

I have an lg cosmos an I don't like that phone I have had it since about 2 weeks before Xmas , i want the pantech jest , people said that it is free when you buy it online, and it says hat too, but if I wanna buy it online because the phone I have now is not what I want will it still be free?
